June 3, 2002 News Release: June 3, 2002 Solid Wood Products Outlook, Short Term Resource Economics LLC is pleased to announce the completion of the Short Term Solid Wood Products Outlook for 2002. Our Short Term Solid Wood Products Outlook for 2002 includes 140 pages of text which includes 125 explanatory figures printed in color. Our Appendix Tables, numbering 96 pages, provide our detailed annual analysis including illustrations in color that are instrumental in interpreting our data tables. The new layout for the solid wood products segment contains softwood and hardwood lumber and plywood, OSB, residuals, and paper and paperboard production. However, instead of only reporting composite prices, we now publish specific product prices for the major production grades of each product by region. We are expanding our reporting on the Canadian markets to include cost structures, provincial production, and return-to-log values. |
